2016 Brompton M6L "Raw bLacquer"

            I got a 2016 M6L Raw Lacquer, and a 2016 M6L Black Edition in Black, and swapped the black edition components across.
I loved my previous Black Edition in White, but that wasn't my perfect Brompton.  This was.
I'm also happy I did it when I did.  Earlier Raw Lacquer had a green tinge, then they had this version (clear, but satin), they then went full gloss, and have recently (2020) discontinued clear 'Raw Lacquer' and now only have tinted versions.
Raw bLacquer, as I dub it, has a wonderful, natural, subtle, steampunk vibe. Looks like something on a factory floor. Exactly as I'd hoped.
