Polruan and Pont Pill, Cornwall - a photo on Flickriver

            The pretty little village of Polruan sits on a steep headland that provides shelter for the large deep-water harbour at Fowey in south-east Cornwall. There is a small ship repair yard here, and a passenger ferry links the village with Fowey, across the other side of the large harbour. In the centre of the picture a number of yachts are anchored at the entrance to Pont Pill (on the right), one of the rivers that feed into the estuary at Fowey.
