Frederick Savage Steam Gallopers and Robey Showman's engine at Beamish Museum

1924 Robey Showman's engine standing next to our 1893 Frederick Savage Steam Gallopers at the Beamish Fairground which is situated next to the Beamish Town.

This year is the first time since 1952 that the gallopers have been powered under steam, the ride being electrically powered from then until 2009.
