The cables are up and construction is to the point where the tower crane on the east tower started to come down this week. A small (relatively) crane was mounted on the top of the tower to lower the big tower crane down piece by piece.

This was shot just before 11. The little specks of white are stars. With this angle it is very clear how much smaller the old Port Mann bridge is compared to the new one.
