On the lake Tjörnin in Reykjavík - a photo on Flickriver

            This is a school building (elementary school Tjarnarskóli) located on the Lake Tjörnin (also called Reykjavíkurtjörn) in Reykjavík. Here is also the city's modern town hall (pictured far left in the fog) and the neoclassical wooden house Iðnó (in the middle of the picture), dating back to the year 1896. It was built by the craftsmen's association as a theater, meeting place, concert hall and dance hall, today it also contains a restaurant.
