Matterhorn and Monte Rosa in the light of early morning from southern crest of Dent Blanche

            The actual tools of Lightroom allow for generating a perfect mask for the sky and use a digital gradation filter in RAW. The big advance is that you can edit the sky seperately and the mask is not linear or circular which is the case with a classical filter. 
I re-edited this shot from 2011 and used a mask for the sky and an additional linear gradation filter. Contrast is much more balanced now and shadows are blueish like they are in reality. It's really worth looking for older goodies and re-editing it with actual poast processing software with such advanced tools.
We look at Matterhorn at the right side with its northern face, Hörnligrat  and Cresta Lion and the whole massif of Monte Rosa on the left side. The shot was taken hand held with the Leica M9, if I remember it well I put the camera on a stone to avoid vibrations.
