Henry Hughes & Sons Ltd Husun "The Pilot" 2.5x50 1944

            A heavy wide angle Galilean binocular, marked 1944 and has the broad arrow of an "issued" binocular.
This binocular was built as a chunky low magnification instrument for Pilots and Paratrooper use. With a wide 10º of view, no exit pupil issues and low magnification, it would have been the best option for aircraft use.
 Without the use of prisms, the binocular is very bright for an uncoated instrument, but if my life depended on them as a lookout, I would choose a prism 6x binocular without a doubt.
