Watch Cap [227/365] - a photo on Flickriver

            A wool watch cap purchased at the U.S. Coast Guard LORAN Station at Attu, Alaska, at the extreme western end of the Aleutian Islands, many years ago. LORAN was a long-range navigation system that has since been superseded by the satellite-based geographic positioning system. Consequently, the Attu station has been decommissioned.
