There's Nothing Like Getting Laid [261/365]

            A keepsake found in one of my bottom desk drawers! How or where I picked up this little novelty has been lost to memory, but it was most likely sometime between the mid-1970s and the mid-1990s. It probably spoke to me because I liked the double entendre of the message. Plus, I was a professional bird biologist.

Measuring about 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 x 3/8 inches, it is designed to stand upright on a flat surface or hang on a wall. It was sold by Wallace Berrie & Co., which was founded in 1966.  Wallace Berrie is best known today for its marketing of Smurfs starting in 1979. Wallace Berrie changed its name to Applause Inc. in 1986. For any collectors out there, a sticker on the back is stamped with the number 5760.
