The Waukaringa trip was a difficult one for me. The time away was great, and I always enjoy visiting new places, but it was hard.

What I realise now, looking back, is that it will all be ok in the end. The earth reclaims, and repairs. In the big picture, and it is big, it will carry on without us. It is indifferent to us.

On my trips away I find an overwhelming greater number of stunning and majestic places. The Ball of Light is found everywhere and it is normally in places I leave with a stunned sense of awe.

In the end it will all be ok! With or without us.
