The shot was taken on "Les Grandes Pradières", a wonderful place near Lake Neuchâtel in the "French" part of Switzerland. Up there we had our training on how to set up exercices in which grenades and explosives would be used. As with most things in the Swiss Army (and I guess in any army on this planet) it was effective but highly inefficient ...
He's wearing the for the Swiss Army typical shirt called "Gnäggi" and also has put on an active headphone that works with the radio for communication and at the same time blocks the harsh sounds from rifles, bazookas, machine guns, etc. As usual he's smoking one of his Pall Mall Reds.
