66747, Lostock Gralam - Plumley West (UK), 01/03/2021

            A sign of the times we are currently in...it has taken until the First of March to take the first railway photo of 2021.

GB Railfreight kindly supplied 66747 'Made in Sheffield' to work 6E09 0711 Liverpool Biomass Terminal to Drax Power Station to coincide with a beautifully sunny morning (and a suitably timed shift at work!)

The non-corporate liveried locos aren't particularly common on the biomass circuit so this Newell Wright Transport liveried loco was worth a quick detour on the way to work given the weather. Hopefully a sign of things to come with a bit more variety...?
