Kika da Silva

            Liderança popular, moradora da Cohab Cidade Tiradentes, zona Leste da capital, e representante de movimentos ligados aos direitos dos negros, das mulheres e da comunidade LGBT.

Aos 69 anos, bisavó solteira, como gosta de dizer, Kika é uma figura bastante conhecida no PT. Filiou-se ao partido há 20 anos, mas antes disso já militava nos movimentos sociais ligados à comunidade negra.

Nascida no bairro do Bixiga, fundou a Oriashé Sociedade Brasileira de Cultura e Arte, de onde nasceram os blocos carnavalescos Afro Oriashé e Ilu Oba de Min – este último arrasta uma multidão de até 30 mil pessoas pelas ruas da cidade sempre nas sextas-feiras antes da folia.
