[The Survivors RPG] Mission 3 - Return to Coruscant (Phase 1) | "Food for the Hungry"

Location: Coruscant, Residential District

Soon after our visit to the weapons dealer, I received word from Kevin that the Survivors were planning a repair and relief mission to help the unfortunate citizens of Coruscant after the recent riots, which the Survivors helped to quell. Sev was not too happy about the further delay in getting him off the planet and into hiding. However, he came with me anyway because I was the one with the shiny beskar axe.

I could tell Sev was annoyed as we embarked on our mission to deliver supplies to the poor and needy of the city.

"Somethin' bothering you?" I asked.

"Yes, as a matter of fact, there is," Sev said. "We've spent far too much time on this planet, and it's not like this place is some backwater moon. It's Coruscant! Literally a planet of cities. If I had foreseen that you were going to drag me off on these insignificant missions, I wouldn't have -"

"I've just about had enough of your yapping, kid," I snapped. "We're the Survivors, and we bring people hope. There sure are a lot of people on this planet that could use some hope right about now. And think of the kids that lost family in the riots. What if one of these kids was your kid, orphaned and abandoned on some unforgiving planet? Bet you'd want someone to look out for them."

Sev was a lot quieter after that.

Before long, we reached the Residential District. I assigned Sev to keep a lookout while I distributed food, blankets, medicine, and clothing. The citizens were somewhat surprised that the Survivors had returned to help the planet recover, but they seemed truly grateful.

After I had been handing out supplies for a while, I noticed that Sev kept looking at something behind the security fence that separated the Residential District from the Slum District. He gestured for me to be quiet and come that way.

"I don't believe it," he whispered. "Look!"

I slowly peered behind the fence. I was not expecting what I saw.

It was the Sith assassin. She had a bag of food with her and was handing a piece of bread to a street girl. The girl grabbed the bread greedily and began eating.

"When will you come back again, Mara?" the girl asked between bites of bread.

"I don't know," the assassin replied. "I have some...business to attend to. But I'll be back if I can."

The assassin handed the bag of food to the girl. "Here. Take the rest for your friends."

The girl's eyes widened. "May the force be with you!" she said with a big smile.

The assassin shrugged. "Yeah. You too."

This is my entry for the first phase of the third mission in the Survivors RPG. I'm planning to submit a build for each phase of the mission (fingers crossed).
