Rocky's Low Tide Morning~ Young Raccoon (Procyon lotor)

            I was overjoyed to spy this guy foraging for mussels and crabs all around the temporary mud flats during low tide on Mobile Bay yesterday! I love raccoons but seldom see them! This encounter was steeped in deja vu, as I had several encounters in this same spot during the winter of '14-'15 with another young raccoon I dubbed 'Rocky'...and low tide wasn't the same without him in the intervening years!
