Lucky Steeple - a photo on Flickriver

Lucky Steeple

            This assignment was called "ShoeScraper." We had to combine in one image a shoe and a skyscraper. I figured church steeples were some old concepts for sky-reaching structures. Combining it with a horseshoe over the doorway for luck i thought made an interesting juxtaposition.

From the Conceptual Still Life class during my final quarter at The Creative Circus. I took as my unifying theme for the quarter the technique of shooting "through the viewfinder."
