"Spiders" Woven Wrinkled Tetrakis Hexahedron 48 units

Daniel Kwan was quite correct in saying that TIWHTHHTT was not in fact the octahedral version of Hexecrons. This is something I had suspected as well, and towards that end, almost before TIWHTHHTT was finished, I had started on this model, which I believe is the actual octahedral equivalent of Hexecrons. This model, which is a woven solid, proved quite challenging to get right- I worked through 4 different variations of paper proportions, pocket angles, and crimp angles, and it still isn't quite perfect, but it at least looks decent now. Each individual 6 unit "spider" has a crimp that bends the unit downward as well as to the side, and although I believe a tetrahedral assembly should be possible in theory, the crimps might have too tight of angle for it to practically work. I think there should be other assemblies using these pieces where different units join to different vertices, but I am not sure yet how many of them would be feasible. There is at least one more of this series I am considering- a dodecahedral equivalent of TIWHTHHTT, which I have already tested with demo units.
