“Prismatic Unknots” 4 Interlocking Self-Interwoven Triangularly Triaugmented Triangular Prisms (Byriah Loper)

            “Prismatic Unknots” 4 Interlocking Self-Interwoven Triangularly Triaugmented Triangular Prisms 72 units In my hand.
This little compound was a side project which did not manifest quite as I initially envisioned it, but still produced a tidy construction. Although all of the concepts utilized here are fairly standard, it recently occurred to me that this type of basic self-interwoven distortion produces a frame that is isomorphic (in the sense of being topologically identical)) with the prism itself, and hence forms a kind of 3-D unknot. I might render up some more sophisticated compounds where each frame has polar dihedral rather than cyclical symmetry, at some point.
