Cementiri de Sant Sebastià de Sitges - Panteó família Vidal y Cuadras

            Els "americanos" sitgetans que s'havien enriquit a Cuba i que, un cop retornats, van canviar la fisonomia de la vila amb la construcció de nous edificis. Així mateix, van voler ser enterrats en panteons d'acord al seu nou estatus.  
D'aquí ve que avui puguem gaudir d'un conjunt d'art funerari d'extraordinari interès, amb obres dels millors escultors del moment.

El panteó de la família família Vidal i Cuadras fou construït sota la direcció del mestre d'obres Cros i Juliana i l'escultor Alexandre Mariotti.

The "americanos" of Sitges who had enriched themselves in Cuba and who, once returned, changed the appearance of the city with the construction of new buildings. Likewise, they wanted to be buried in pantheons according to their new status.
Hence, today we can enjoy a set of funerary art of extraordinary interest, with works by the best sculptors of the moment.

The Pantheon of the Vidal i Cuadras family was built under the direction of the Cros and Juliana master builder and the sculptor Alexandre Mariotti.

Los "americanos" de Sitges que se habían enriquecido en Cuba y que, una vez devueltos, cambiaron la fisonomía de la ciudad con la construcción de nuevos edificios. Asimismo, quisieron ser enterrados en panteones de acuerdo a su nuevo estatus.
De ahí que hoy podamos disfrutar de un conjunto de arte funerario de extraordinario interés, con obras de los mejores escultores del momento.

El panteón de la familia familia Vidal y Cuadras fue construido bajo la dirección del maestro de obras Cros y Juliana y el escultor Alexandre Mariotti.
