underwater strawberry - a photo on Flickriver

            My camera club held an event yesterday where people brought in objects to photograph, lights, black lights, light boxes,water drop machines, etc. with the idea that we would have a day of fun and play. And fun it was! This strawberry was submerged in a mixture of seltzer water and plain water. It was anchored clumsily--I just jammed the stem into a slit into a water bottle filled with marbles. By now, the seltzer was getting pretty flat. The clear glass container was then placed in front of a black backdrop and a side light was set up. Although this is not the greatest picture, it is a reminder of a technique that I had never seen before.
