Cronin Blue Tulip Bean Pot, 1950s

            The tall beanpot, a cheerful robin egg blue with abstract tulips, is the Blue Tulip pattern from Cronin China Company, Minerva, Ohio. Hall made this design in the 1950s for distribution in the A&P food markets. This heavy casserole with its matching lid are oven safe--which may be what the stamp says on the bottom, but all I can make out is "OVEN."
