Bioluminescent waters (Noctiluca scintillans) and the Milky Way

            Glow in the dark water!

Bioluminescent algae glow in the dark when agitated (in this case, by the waves breaking on the shore).

The phenomenon is known as Bioluminescence (Noctiluca scintillans) and if you're lucky you can find it in the waters on various Tasmanian beaches. 

I can't wait to get back to Tasmania to recapture some images of it!
