            Rainbow after the storm in Toronto on August 15th.  Part of a double arc is just vaguely visible on the right.  I had to darken this image and play with the saturation a bit to make the rainbow clear.  It was still raining at the time, so there is at least one water spot in the image; I decided to leave it there as a reminder to myself of the interesting conditions at the time.  The sun was still pretty high in the sky, so the rainbow is low to the horizon.  The image gives a decent impression, I think, of the quality of light after the storm.  Later in the evening, the sky was full of heat lightning in the distant north, and then, towards midnight, in the distant south, over the lake.  Wonderful evening.
