            Bar going a family walk to get some air after lunch I've been sitting in our garden room with my head in the books. But every so often I've taken a 10 min break here or there to photograph Sooty in our garden. Yes we call him Sooty... he is a regular visitor to the garden along with a few more juvenile blackbirds. I just liked the look of him against the snow I thought it would make for an arty shot...and the wee breaks in project management study using my wife's camera to take some shots really helped make the revision bearable! 

I was trying to shoot something a bit different than him just on his usual perches... he was quite funny to watch digging in the snow for the sunflower seeds that the goldfinches had dropped out the feeders above!
