The art of survival - a photo on Flickriver

            This young man lost his arms as a boy in a rice and corn mill, where his father was employed. They where allowed to play there, despite the fact, that there where no protectors around the big belts, driving the mill. Of course, one time his arms got caught and ripped out of his body. A miracle happend and he survived. He is sitting now, most of his time, in the garden of a restaurant in Cebu City and painting quiet amazing portraits of tourists.
