            Happy Fence Friday!

Boreas Pass is a high mountain pass, on the continental divide,  in the Rocky Mountains, at 11,493 elevation.  The buildings are remnants of the line cabins used by railroad workers. It also served as an early route for thousands of prospectors during the Colorado Gold Rush.  Boreas is named after the ancient Greek god of the North Wind.
