UP 6266 Dallas 26 Feb 25 - a photo on Flickriver

            UP 6266 leads a long stack train west out of Dallas, TX and across the Trinity River on the iconic Trinity River Bridge.

This is a wider-angle shot than my previous upload and one more similar in focal length to David Hawkins' classic shot of UP 4141 from this spot which I'll link below in the comments.

From what I could gather online, the Trinity River Bridge spans 2,040' in total with the main span measuring in at 200'.  The bridge was built in 1930 for the Texas and Pacific Railroad and consists of 31 approach spans along with the one main span.

This was a pleasant experience waiting out here on the levee for a few hours over the course of two days.  I'm not sure if it was so quiet because it was the middle of the work week at the end of February, but there were very few people and even less flying bugs.  It was also a nice spot to watch a seemingly endless parade of Southwest Airlines 737s flying over the skyline.
