Everyone Needs a Sidekick - a photo on Flickriver

Strobist: 2 x YN560 IV, 1/1 power, 1m away left and right of subject at 90 degree angle with umbrellas. Radio triggered by YN560-TX.

This is my first Strobist submission. Here are my critiques: I would have liked to have used a lower ISO. I like the effect of the wide angle lens, but it left my subjects not as sharp or as large in the frame. Perhaps using my 50mm f/1.8 would have been a better choice.

I shot this because a student in my Data Mining class had this cool bike. We (me and another photographer in the class) kicked around the idea of a photoshoot for it and somewhere the idea came up that a dog should be in the sidecar.

I contacted my friend at AARF and she provided Yogi for the shoot. He was awesome, and a total sweetie! He needs a forever home, and I hope that someone in Internet-land needs a sidekick. ;)
