Old Union Meeting House, Overton Co, TN

TNGIS says this is the historical Holly Springs School, of which no information can be found. Only a little can be found of Old Union Meeting House.

Most of what I've found about the Old Union Meeting House suggests that there is some paranormal activity at work. I'm pretty sure that there's an inverse relationship to paranormal activity and having things to do.

Since I've lived in Tennessee I've come to understand that locals believe every empty house is haunted. It's my opinion that superstition doesn't make things interesting. Empty houses are interesting on their own and many have some interesting stories. Unfortunately when a place is labeled as haunted, then the only history one can learn from it are the lies and superstitions that people once had.
