2013.06 - 'Urban outdoor still-life of frozen pipe-lines by using nitrogen - metro constructions in amsterdam city; urban photography of the Netherlands, Fons Heijnsbroek

            An outdoor still-life of frozen pipe-lines at the metro-construction site at the street Ferdinand Bolstraat in Amsterdam city-center. By using nitrogen the clay sidewalls underground get stiff by the low temperature, so underground building and digging activities will not provoke subsidence harm for the pilings of the other old buildings, built on wooden pilings.
