Swedish airline Amapola & their rare fleet of Fokker 50's operating domestic flights in Ireland during 2021, its still incredible that it happened, albeit briefly.

Fokker 50 SE-MFY has been operating the route from the beginning. It was delivered to DLT in March 1990 & has been with carriers such as Lufthansa, VLM, Cityjet & lastly Air Antwerp until their demise earlier in 2021.

Single fares on the Dublin-Donegal route, which is operated on a PSO ( public service obligation ) by the Irish Government currently start at 55 euros each way.

My thanks to the amazing cockpit crew that day, Captain David, FO Thomas & cabin crew Isak for their warmth & kindness, along with the co-operation of ground staff at Carrickfinn Airport for these photos.
