Flushed by recent rains, the rapids were full on Stephenson Creek.

▶ Stephenson Creek begins near Arabia Mountain, just north of Arabia Lake, and flows three miles south to a confluence with the South River, near Panola Mountain.

▶ This particular segment of Stephenson Creek is part of the nationwide Chronolog network: "a monitoring tool for parks, nature centers, wildlife organizations, schools, and museums worldwide. With over 60,000 contributors across 200 organizations, Chronolog is on a mission to engage communities with nature while recording important natural changes."

▶ Klondike Park is part of a system of parks and greenspace in the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve.
