the red bandanna 25.52 - a photo on Flickriver

            As we were getting ready for a nice afternoon walk by the river yesterday, I spontaneously decided to select a bandanna from Blanca's large collection and try it on Tidda.  I expected her to react with skepticism, as she normally does with new things.

But instead something entirely different happened:  She wagged her tail enthusiastically and got really happy about me putting a bandanna on her!  There could be no doubt that she had worn one before and it was associated with good memories!

Not only was it adorable, but I was also so moved that I almost cried because I realized something extraordinary had just happened that I didn't think would ever be possible:  Tidda had communicated to me a very specific detail about her otherwise unknowable past life.
