20081121 - utility room organization - 2 - 172-7241 - rechargable battery bins, screwdriver bin, hammer, file

I spent a couple hours over the course of a few days to completely organize the utility room and my tools as much as possible. To the extent of sorting every individual screw, and hanging all my tools on the wall so I never forget where they are.

1) Yes, we use three battery cases to hold our various rechargables. They're usually much fuller than this.

2) I have an absurd number of screwdrivers. This "mail bin" that screws to the wall came with our house, and was originally in the corner by what is now the spiral stairs. I figured it would be good as a "screwdriver bin", since it fit so perfectly over the outlet....

3) Finding a clip that holds my hammer to the wall in my toolbox? Awesome.

4) The file was bought to sharpen my samurai sword, but I also ended up using it a lot to shape the wood for my bathroom door frame such that the door would properly close after decades of the house settling.

P.S. I'm not really a charter member of the handyman club. But where else would I stick the sticker?
