McMinnville Hydroelectric Station Dam (McMinnville, Tennessee)

            Historic dam on the Barren Fork River in McMinnville, Tennessee.  The 320-foot long, 20-foot high dam was built in 1902 by the Walling Power and Light Company.  Today, the dam's primary purpose is to maintain the reservoir for the city's water supply.  

The dam was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990 as part of the McMinnville Hydroelectric Station (NRHP No. 90000307).

An old Pratt pony truss bridge is located behind the dam.
