            PACIFIC OCEAN (April. 17, 2022) An MQ-8C Fire Scout unmanned helicopter assigned to  the "Wildcards" of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23 hovers over the flight deck of Independence-variant littoral combat ship USS Montgomery (LCS 8) during routine operations in the Eastern Pacific. LCS is a fast, agile, mission-focused platform designed to operate in near-shore environments, winning against 21st-century coastal threats.
