            Raystown Ranger Alicia Palmer (right) assisted with Headquarters, USACE Park Ranger Day and Organization Day on July 31. Park Rangers from six Districts and the National Water Safety program manager were in Washington, D.C., for the annual event. Activities included a booth staffed in front of the Chief's office that advertised recreation locations, water safety information as well as career opportunities. The Rangers provided a water safety program for the children of Tiny Findings Daycare, and an adult water safety program for employees.  At Organization Day, the Park Rangers staffed water safety tent that included hands-on activities to demonstrate the importance of wearing life jackets, water safety quizzes, the danger of mixing boating and alcohol, and appearances by Seamoor Safety, Bobber the Water Safety Dog and Corey the Safety Boat.
