Tall daughter, short mother - a photo on Flickriver

            I had promised my daughter to take her back to Disney World because she had forgotten her first trip. My husband and I  made that promise good right before she graduated from college, and took her fiance as well! 

The stuffed Mickey I am carrying is called Pal Mickey.  He is interactive in all of the Disney parks.  I just read he is no longer sold in the parks though. :(   Just keep his nose pointed up, and he yaks away about points of interest and wait times at certain rides.  When you get home, he has a number of games that can be played.  I remove his batteries and pack him carefully away for the next trip.  I bought mine new in box on eBay and saved quite a bit over store cost.  With him not available for sale in the parks, I have no idea what his eBay worth is these days.

And yes, I am a Disney baby.  Raised on Disney.  Too bad so many young folks these days don't know some of the older characters.  I am not the only Grandma to be teaching the grandchildren about the old Disney Classics!  It's really amazing!
