Fox Squirrels on a Hot Summer Day at the University of Michigan - July 17th, 2019

            Saw lots of fox squirrels out and about on a hot day in Ann Arbor, Wednesday July 17th, 2019 at the University of Michigan.  I saw two of my Dodgeball named squirrels recovering from mange over at the Law Quad: "Patches O'Houlihan" (who was pretty badly off) and what I believe is her offspring, "Justin".  I did not see "Steve the Pirate."  Patches seems to have some fur growing back - it is very exciting to see her rebound.  I will continue to track progress as her fur grows back and that scar on her lower back, heals.  I did notice some squirrels who are identified for a study - they have small clips in their ears.
