Sunrise Ramona style - a photo on Flickriver

Ok, one more image for tonight. I took well over 400 images yesterday and I need to do SOMETHING with them! So, this was my sunrise yesterday morning. Again, on a day off, I woke up at 5 am to see if I can find the fog that I have been looking for. And here it is! But this time, I stuck around for the sun to actually rise. Despite the fact it was freezing cold and the sun actually peeked out from the mountain 15 minutes later then the sunrise report! It was HARD to wait in that cold while your iPod app lied to you about the time the sun was going to rise! By time I realized my shutter speed was quick enough to hand hold, I ditched the tripod and started to shoot holding the camera. That was so weird, hand holding my camera! :) And on top of that, my spare hand could no longer be in my pocket, so I froze even more! It was in the mid 30's when I got there. BURRRR< Ok, I am SO a SoCal girl! Any way, here is my home, at sunrise, with some fog! Next time I do this, I think I want to try out the ND filter with this. Oh, does that mean another 5AM wake up call?
