This is a VERY hard image to get in La Jolla. Or in San Diego at all! You see, all of our beaches have such great surf, the water is always moving! However that one special Friday that my husband and I had out at La Jolla, the tide was really low and I found a few pockets of underwater life. The was the best of the images, and not quite enough for me. Meaning, I will still look for those flawless conditions! To get this image, I did stack my ND110 on top of my polarizer. The problem with that is I could not see through the ND110, so I was guessing if I was cutting through the water or if I was getting the shine! :) I was grateful to find, when I processed this, that I had a few OK images. Please do enjoy! Eventually, I will get this down. I might, next time I have conditions like this, put the polarizer on top of the ND instead of below the ND, that way, it might be easer to control. And easer to screw on! :)

Geek talk, I used for this image the B+W ND110 stacked on top of my C-polarizer.

On a final note, this may or may not be my last image for the day, I have the honor of working the LATE shift tonight, and I will not be home until 10:30 ish, and thats if I get out on time! SO, we shall see!
