Septon Bokeh - a photo on Flickriver

Septon Bokeh

            Voigtländer Depton 50mm f2.
There was a discussion is it based on Ultron or Nokton design. I would say it is an evolution of Xenon with additinoal element inserted between front one and cemented group. Of course, I have no idea is it true or not. Just how it looks to me.
Anywy, whatever it was, it was one of the finest Voigtländer lenses. It does not excell in any apect. One may say that Ultron is sharper, Nokton has more impressive bokeh, but in my opinion Septon just do everything right. It is sharp, it has beutifull F2 bokeh, excellent contrast and rich natural colours or monochrome rendering.

This one is SOOC Nikon standard preset with no modifications in camera.
