A Ray of Light Bokeh - a photo on Flickriver

            Somehow, there are a few lenses I always go back to. The Voigtländer Nokton 50mm f/1.5 from the Prominent rangefinder camera which was produced from 1952 to 1962. It was one of the best fast fifties of the fifties. Even today, it is one of the best vintage fast fifties in general. Some have slightly better IQ, some a bit more character, but none has that balance of IQ and character as the Nokton with a speed of f1.5 or less. Well, I am sure there is a whole planet that will not agree with me :) .

There is a lot of post-processing done in this photo to accentuate the bokeh and character of the lens.
