Good news for Wilma and us (189/366)

            What we had thought was a quite aggressive, grade 2/3 sarcoma before the surgery has now been downgraded after the lump was sent to histology. It's a grade 1 and 3 of the 4 resection margins are clear :-) This is great news as the recurrence rate is probably less than 20% and no further treatment is indicated. She's an old girl now anyway and we're hopeful that it won't recur in her natural lifetime. We're delighted :-)

Her stitches are out and the scar is healing nicely.
