First 4x5 - a photo on Flickriver

First 4x5

            This was more of a trial test shot than anything, but I thought it worth sharing. 
My good friend John (AshlandJET) and I recently decided to get into large format photography. After doing some research, we acquired a 1949 Pacemaker Speed Graphic and Kodak Ektar 127/4.7 for us both to use. We always go out together, and I wouldn't be able to use one without his help, so it works out well. Our good friend Gerry (one.transient) generously loaned us a film holder preloaded with Fomapan 100 to test the camera, and also developed the film for us. For some as yet unknown reason, only one of the two test shots worked, but we're pretty certain the camera works great, and we're very much looking forward to shooting more 4x5.
