Bird Flying Past an Alp Dreamscape - a photo on Flickriver

            I admit that this photo was partly luck. I only realized later that I had captured a bird in flight 
 (tiny silhouette at image center).
I was making a series of winter afternoon telephoto shots of the beautiful, dream-like view of the Swiss Alps from the German Black Forest. This is the only one that included a bird in flight. 

NB1 - Shot hand-held at FF equivalent of 450mm and 1/200s.  

NB2 - "Alp Dream" should not be confused with "Albtraum" which is German for "nightmare." 😄 

NB3 - Currently, due to the pandemic, we are not roaming much from home, and we have no snow at all here in Riehen BS CH. So, I am going nostalgically through photos taken a while ago at one of our favorite spots for snowshoeing and photography. See below.
