Once Held Books

            This is the original Thayer Public Library in Braintree (MA). Built in 1874, it served as the Town's library until 1953, when the library moved to a larger facility nearby. Since then it was home to the Braintree Water & Sewer Department for a number of years. Currently it has no specific use, but has recently received some much needed upgrades and renovations. Beautiful old building.
