LAS VEGAS - Excalibur Hotel & Casino

            Excalibur Hotel and Casino is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada, in the United States. It is owned and managed by MGM Resorts International.
This hotel, whose theme is based on the legendary King Arthur, is called Excalibur, the name of that king's mythical sword. The façade of this hotel is designed like a castle, with a figure representing the wizard Merlin looking down from above. The style of the hotel is based on the castle of Carcassonne, in France.
Excalibur is located at the Tropicana - Las Vegas Boulevard intersection where traffic is so heavy that pedestrians are not allowed to cross. For this reason, the Excalibur is connected by elevated pedestrian bridges with the other neighboring hotels: To the north with the New York-New York Hotel & Casino, along Tropicana Avenue and to the east with the Tropicana Resort & Casino, along of the Strip. There's also a free tram that connects the Excalibur to its MGM Resorts International "sister" properties to the south, the Luxor and Mandalay Bay. The three casinos are connected to each other, so it is possible to walk between the three without having to go outside.
