B124 WUV

            West Kent Buses B124 WUV 'LINDSAY' is pictured turning out of Jacobs Lane into Forge Lane, Horton Kirby whilst working school route 2. Wednesday 25th May 2011

New to London Transport as T1124 in November 1984 this vehicle spent it's entire career in London south of the river Thames firstly at Bromley before moving to Bexleyheath, Plumstead and Catford. Upon privatisation in 1993 it passed to Stagecoach Selkent and remained at Catford until withdrawal from service in London in the summer of 1997. It was then converted to single door and saw further use with Stagecoach East Kent being assigned the fleet number of 7284 until 2002 when it was bought by West Kent Buses in West Kingsdown for use on school workings in North West Kent. It was stood down in 2012 following the arrival of newer vehicles however it was loaned to Diamond Coaches in 2013 for a short period.
