            THE  FALL FINDING  ETERNITY

Stop everything, every single thing,
But the music of this mystic rain,
In pity the sky calls out the name
Of every single soul in pain!
Spare nothing but only leave
These dying, falling autumn leaves.
Who knows where begins the beginning,
Ah! It sure is the Fall finding eternity!
Take away everything but these leafless trees
Who stand silent and low without any sin,
Left helpless at the mercy of cold winds.
How comes yellow, orange, brown or green?
Poor us! How can we ever tell!
Which color was that of joy,
Which one was the sorrow’s bell,
Yet we wake up every day
To slowly wait for the next day!
Shoo away every single, singing bird in the sky,
Hush every song of pain or joy
But leave with me only these falling raindrops,
Who sing to me of my agony,
Turn away every cruel eye’s pride
From my existence’s side,
But oh! Leave me only one selfless look
So that I may survive this life.
